London Leaf Staff
Martia Hayes, LPC, CSOTP
Martia Hayes is the founder of London Leaf Counseling. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 15 years of experience in community mental health counseling working with teenagers (starting at 17 years old) and adults. Martia specializes in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, crisis, relationship issues, mood instability, and spiritual (Christian) concerns of life struggles. Martia is skilled at integrating different therapeutic modalities to fit each individual unique needs; however, she favors mostly positive psychology, person-centered therapy, cognitive-behavior therapy, cognitive processing therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused, and faith-based counseling interventions to help foster hope and resiliency towards healthy living and social and emotional wellbeing. Martia strives to create a comfortable and optimistic environment where therapy is collaborative, supportive, non-judgmental, safe, and accessible. In her spare time, Martia enjoys spending time with her family and is actively involved in her church leading prison ministry and singing on the worship team.
